BUT THEY THAT WAIT ON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH;

THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES;

THET SHALL RUN, AND NOT BE WEARY; AND THEY SHALL WALK, AND NOT FAINT: ISAIAH 40:31

WAITING ON THE LORD

This is one of the things we fail to do as human beings is waiting on God because we are surrounded by things in this world that put pressure on us to compete with each other and even get to a point to hate one another and most of the time we find ourselves in a place where everything just breaks loose because we can’t keep up anymore!

One of the great pastors I know once said release the dream inside of you,

You will stop chasing the dream and you will become the dream.

Waiting on God requires patience and trust!

Yes there are people who are going to pass you along the way but you need to remain stable in the presence of the Lord and not be moved by the pressures of the world.

In His word He tells us that He orders & directs the steps of the righteous and He goes before them as their rare guide to prepare all the crooked places and make them straight for His children. PSALM 37:23

There is a saying in Zulu/Xhosa that says isina muva liyabukwa simple meaning that the best is saved for last.

So young people let us wait on the Lord and live in His will & stop comparing your success/setbacks with other people’s prosperity. The truth is we all have different gifs and talents given to us by God for different purposes in our lives

He has promised us in His word that those who delight themselves in Him will keep them in perfect peace! ISAIAH 26:3

Keep your eyes fixed on the Lord and seek His kingdom and His righteousness and everything else shall be added to you. Matt 6:33

Prayer of salvation. Pray this prayer and mean it with your whole heart…!

Dear Lord thank you for loving me, I come to you just as I am. I want YOU to be my Lord and Saviour of my life, your word says who so ever call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, I ask you Jesus to be the Lord of my life. Your word says if I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead I will be saved, I believe in heart and I confess with my mouth that God raised Jesus from the dead.

I declare that I am saved, I am born again, and I am a child of GOD. I now have Christ dwelling in me, shout hallelujah!
