Unplugged Goes Throwback With DJ Cleo

It’s the festive season and Unplugged is shutting things down in a big way. The monthly outdoor event is bringing one of South Africa’s house music legends. Headlining Unplugged on the 15th of December is DJ Cleo.

Cleo has given the African continent hits such as ‘Ndiya’, ‘Facebook’, ‘How Low Can You Go’ to name but a few. The December edition comes with a dress code theme based on the 80s and 90s.

The local line up will feature Vimbai Zimuto, ExQ, IAre and Rue. The collaborative super group 5% which features Leonard Mapfumo, Prayersoul, Bryan K, Sanii Makhalima and Nyasha David will also perform. This time crowd favourite Reverb7 won’t be making an appearance. Handling the decks will be DJ iROQ and DJ TKBeats.

Unplugged returns to Wingate Golf Club in Pomona, Harare. Turning five years in December, Unplugged is bridging the past and future this December.
