Tongai Moyo succumbed to non Hodgkin’s lymphoma at St Anne’s Hospital on the evening of Saturday 15 October 2011 in Harare.

Tongai Moyo was also known as Dhewa.

The late musician went to Chiedza primary and Mbizo secondary schools.

Tongai Moyo dropped out of College to pursue a music career.

He released his first album Vimbo in 1997.
