Scholarships for Zimbabweans – Innovative International Scholarships – Merit Scholarship in Australia, 2015

Curtin University is inviting applications for innovative international scholarships – merit scholarship.  Scholarships are available for pursuing Undergraduate and Postgraduate Coursework degree at Curtin University. Applicants must be citizens of Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, Zambia or Zimbabwe. The application deadline is 13 February 2015 and 17 July 2015.

Study Subject (s): Scholarships are awarded for all UG and PG (master by coursework) courses available at Curtin University.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing Undergraduate and Postgraduate Coursework degree at Curtin University.

-Must meet Curtin University course academic and English language entry requirements
-Must have ANY academic background
-Must be international, full fee-paying students
-Must be commencing a full undergraduate or master (coursework) degree in Semester 1, 2 or 3 2015 at Curtin University Sydney
-Must not be coming to Curtin via a sponsoring body
-Must not have credits for recognized learning (CRL)

Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, Zambia or Zimbabwe can apply for these scholarships.

Through the Merit Scholarship, Curtin welcomes eligible students who are citizens of Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, Zambia or Zimbabwe. This scholarship category awards eligible students 25% of their first year of tuition. Curtin University acknowledges the importance of being one of Australia’s most multicultural university campuses and this scholarship aims to grow the trust and confidence in Curtin University as a place for students to further their studies, careers and life experiences.

How to Apply: Students must apply through a Curtin University registered education agent. Students cannot apply directly to Curtin University Sydney. Admissions will assess each application accordingly and issue a supplementary letter, along with a Letter of Offer, to confirm whether the applicant has been successful. Applications will be assessed for eligibility and when accepting any Offer from Curtin University, students are required to read and sign the respective terms and conditions. Students cannot apply for this scholarship if they are a recipient of, or have applied for, any other Curtin University scholarship.
