The magazine’s award ceremony took place at Schloss Dyck in Jüchen. Mark Kenworthy, Regional Director European Operations of Aston Martin Lagonda of Europe, said: “It is very satisfying to see that our four-door sports car has once again taken this award, and we’re very grateful to the readers of MotorKlassik for their votes.

“I believe this third win in a row really underlines Aston Martin’s timeless design, and our expertise as a luxury sports car maker. The fact that the Rapide S continues to win honours around the world shows how well received Aston Martin styling and luxury continue to be.”

Winning in the magazine’s ‘Luxusklasse’ category, the Rapide S received 33,3% of the votes ahead of the Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG Coupe and Maserati Quattroporte. The number of readers who participated in this year’s vote has increased by about 50% in comparison to the previous year, exceeding now the number of 20,000 participants in total.
