Meet The Zimbabwean Who Has Over 100 South African Employees

One of the main reasons why xenophobic South Africans have been attacking foreigners is that they claim foreigners are taking their jobs and for way lower wages than they should. Maybe they need to meet Godfrey Madanhure , a Zimbabwean who has over a hundred South Africans employees.

Godfrey is a Cape Town based motivational speaker and social commentator who has created employment for many South Africans. His company called Dreamworld Promotions has over a hundred and fifty employees.

The company is about assisting the youth and transforming lives in a positive manner. “This is what keeps us fueled to ensure that generations are given the right life skills,” says Godfrey. The Zimbabwean born entrepreneur has sold between 30-40 thousand copies of his motivational CDs which are aimed at motivating the people on the ground who really need the inspiration.

“As a foreigner working in South Africa i always have my family in mind”, he says. He continues to say that by having a business in South Africa he is also adding to job creation in the country.

Madanhure has met Winnie Mandela, President Jacob Zuma and has travelled as far as Norway where he met the Prince and Princess of Norway at a Partnership for Change conference.

He says getting rid of foreigners is not helpful as they not only contribute to the South African economy but also share their skills and expertise with the locals.
