Miss Zimbabwe Emily Kachote Dethroned Amid Nude Photos

Can we get a break?! Dethroning has become a trend in the Miss Zimbabwe pageant. Emily Kachote has become the latest joined the list of dethroned Miss Zimbabwe as she was officially taken off the throne yesterday.

The beauty queen’s nude photos first made their round on the internet just two weeks after she was crowned Miss Zimbabwe. The Miss Zimbabwe Trust had said they would wait and investigate if she had violated her contract with the organization. Turns out she did.

“The Miss Zimbabwe executive board would like to inform the nation that it has resolved to dethrone Miss Emily Kachote as Miss World Zimbabwe 2015. This was in violation of the rules and regulations governing the Trust which all the contestants appended their signatures to”, said the organization in a statement.

The Miss Zimbabwe Trust says sexual advances towards anyone and any behavior categorized as immoral by the Miss Zimbabwe Trust is grounds for instant disqualification and dethronement.

“Winners of the Miss World Zimbabwe beauty pageant whether a title holder or runner-up must not have posed nude professionally or socially in all forms of media”, said the organization.

This makes the first Princess in the competition Ann Grace Mutambu the new Miss Zimbabwe by default.
