Zimbabwean Support Organizations You Should Know

Life happens to every one of us, whether directly or around us. One of the biggest problems facing most people in Zimbabwe is lack of knowledge and support required during illnesses. Be it HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Autism, Epilepsy or Depression you need the right support and knowledge you can get to fight the battle or help your loved ones going through them.

Field visit to the district of Tharaka North in Eastern Kenya with our partner the Diocese of Meru. Valerie Scherrer wanted to meet with persons with disabilities and their families affected by the drought hitting the Horn of Africa. In Tharaka North visiting a family. The child is a child with disability and the father is with us explaining their situation. It is a family with 11 children and the mother has gone to the city to beg for food as the father is taking care of the children. They usually walk 6 hours to get 60 liters of water a day. They are having a meal a day made of a little maize boiled in water For further information please see: KEN-11-0001.pdf
