Kudakwashe Mahachi Denies Assaulting His Wife

Sundowns midfielder Kudakwashe Mahachi has denied allegations that he assaulted his wife while demanding answers about her alleged affair with crossboader truck-driver.

Mahachi and his wife Maritha Ndlovu were seen yesterday at Commonage courts after Maritha withdrew her physical abuse complaint against her husband before any charges were laid.

Mahachi denied the allegations saying, “I didn’t assault my wife, so I don’t know about the physical abuse charge you are talking about. As I’m talking to you right now, I’m with my wife at home meaning we’re fine.”

The inspector at Bulawayo Police, Mandlenkosi Moyo declined to comment saying a file on the matter had been passed on to prosecutors.

The couple who are parents to two year old Dineo started having problems after Mahachi’s wife was caught cheating with a crossboarder truck driver.
