New Miss Zimbabwe Attacked And Assaulted Just After Being Crowned

Is it just life happening as we know it or The Miss Zimbabwe pageant is cursed? We don’t know what to make of the events happening within and around the association.

Few hour after being crowned the new Miss World Zimbabwe Annie-Grace Mutambu was attacked and assaulted by robbers who are said to have been driving  a VW Golf. Thankfully no one was badly harmed but the beauty lost her laptop and a cellphone in the incident.

“We are not sure if it was a genuine criminal attack or it’s our detractors who attacked her.  We hope the police will catch them and bring them to book,” said Tendai Chirau, Miss Zimbabwe Trust’s Communications and Programs manager.

Annie-Grace was kicked in the chest and her sister was kicked in the stomach, this is not the first time the same kind of assault has been reported in the area, said the police.

“We later took her to hospital. She is feeling better physically but she as traumatized,” said Anne-Grace’s mother.
