“I still have a long way to go” – Bev

Bev the dancer was recently in the UK for an appearance doing what she knows best. The exotic dancer was on a Zimbabwean online talk show where she talked about being a single mother, why he left Prophet Magaya’s church and some misconceptions about her.

Bev says she’s a single mother of one to a six year old boy who is also a dancer. The famous dancer is also an entrepreneur who a retail shop in Kadoma.

Bev said she has a boyfriend and is not after anyone’s man, “I get frustrated when women think I’m after their men, It’s frustrating that they think that of me, I’m a dancer and that’s my job”, she told the talk show host.

Asked if she feels she has done it all and achieved her dreams, Bev says she still has a long way to go. “I’m not yet where I would want to be, I still have a long way to.”

The Harare born dancer took the opportunity to promote her business saying she trains other women and give them private dancing lessons.

Speaking on why she left the Magaya church, Bev says it was not Magaya directly but something happened with some of the people in the church which she did not disclose. She says she stopped going to church and now prays in her own house.
