Tinotenda Kadewere has fulfilled his Europe dream after signing for Swedish topflight side Djurgadens on Thursday. Kadewere who was being closely monitored by Djurgadens where he featured for the under 21 side on Thursday completed a loan deal which will see him plying his trade in Sweden until the end of the season.
At Djurgadens Kadewere will play alongside Nyasha Mushekwi who has been impressive since moving to Sweden. Mushekwi is also in Sweden on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns. Kadewere had also been the target of some French sides which include Sochaux and Lorient.
Kadewere was nurtured by his father the late Onias Kadewere at Highfield Academy. At school Kadewere attended Prince Edward High School where he rubbed shoulders with current Warriors goalkeeper Tatenda Mukuruva.
The brother to former young warriors player Prosper Kadewere made his breakthrough in 2014 when he was signed by premiership outfit Harare City. It was at Harare City where the Prince Edward old boy attracted the attention of scouts who monitored the lanky forward closely.
