Mark Mathe’s tenure as Caps United coach hangs in the balance after Thursday’s draw with Tsholotsho

Mark Mathe’s tenure as Caps United Head Coach was left hanging by a thread after the Green machine was held to a 1 all draw by Tsholotsho FC at the National Sports Stadium.

Makepekepe thought it would be their day when Dominic Chungwa opened the scoring before the break but a second half equaliser helped Tsholotsho FC grab a valuable point away from home.

With Mark Mathe having recently come under heavy criticism from Caps United President Farai Jere, a draw with Tsholotsho could create a further rift between Caps United’s leadership and the interim head coach.

Moses Chunga has been linked with a move to Makepekepe in recent weeks, and if such rumours are anything to go by Bambo’s return top Caps may perhaps be imminent.
