Nyale 1

Zimbabwean forward Nyasha Mushekwi could play his last encounter in Sweden when Djurgadens host Hammarby at the Tele 2 arena on Monday evening. The aftermath of Monday’s encounter will see Mushekwi’s loan deal expire and with the Zimbabwean yet to be tied down to another deal Mushekwi’s spell in Sweden could end.

Commenting in a recent interview held in Sweden Mushekwi said “this could be my last match for Djurgadens. I will probably know more next week.” Mushekwi said.

Nyasha Mushekwi is a Mamelodi Sundowns player and has been on loan to Djurgadens. Despite made to feel at home in Sweden the bustling forwards future rests in the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns.

Three clubs were last week reportedly in the hunt for Mushekwi’s signature but nothing has materialised yet. Among clubs believed to be seeking for Mushekwi’s services are Egyptian champions Zamalek as well as Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade. Clubs from China and the United Arab Emirates have also reportedly expressed interest in the Warriors striker.
