21 Year Old Kudakwashe Mahachi To Quit Football To Further Studies

Kudakwashe Mahachi reportedly wants to put his football career on hold for at least two years to focus on his studies.

This comes after the 21 year old soccer star was not registered at Sundowns for the season. Despite the news Mahachi did report for National duty over a week when they played Guinea.

“I am going back to school to do technical graphics, it happens in football and I don’t know how it happens but I have made my decision. I told my father of my thoughts and the decision I have made and he was very understanding about the issue”, he said in a statement.

Mahachi plans to return to football once he’s done. “I will return very soon to football I just want to iron out some issues and my father will help me with the things I want to do.”

Mahachi made his debut for South Africa’s PSL team Sundowns in August 2014 after an impressive performance for Zimbabwe at the African Nations Championship in South Africa last year.
