6 Things You Need To Know About Rising Star Thomas Chideu

19 year old Thomas Chideu is making waves and the latest Zimbabwean footballer to watch. He recently joined SA’s PSL team Ajax Cape Town. Here are six things you need to know about the rising star.

1.Thomas Chideu was born on the 30th of October in 1996. He is the youngest of three boys.

2. His two sibling Simba and Kudzai are also professional football players who play in the Zimbabwe Premier League.

3. He attended Prince Edward High School where his football career took off when he played at The National Association of Secondary Heads Under 20 Tournament.

4. Chideu was quickly signed by Highlanders but only played eight matches before he left for South Africa in July to join Ajax Cape Town.

5. The 19 year old has represented Zimbabwe in the Under 23 team.

6.In 2014 he spent three months in the UK where he also impressed the English club Sunderland Football Club.
