7 Things We Learnt About Comedian Carl Joshua Ncube From The #TWZ Show

The latest episode of the Tonight With Zororo show features comedian Carl Joshua Ncube as the guest. The comedian talks about his journey to being one of the most talked about comedians in the country. We also got to know more about his personal life, here are seven things we learnt about the comedian.

1. He studied Nursing in the United Kingdom before coming back to Zim to pursue his dreams

2. Whilst living in the UK the comedian faced problems with visa extension and attempted suicide twice.

3. Five years ago Carl slept on the streets for a week in Harare protesting against music piracy.

4.Carl and his wife live in Kadoma where they opened a boutique hotel. His wife is his manager.

5. The entertainer is also a cook, he has used some of his skills to design a new menu for their boutique hotel in Kadoma.

6. Carl admits that his wife doesn’t find his jokes funny when they are at home, she only finds him funny when he’s on the stage.

7. Ncube thinks the government is more open and easy on comedy than religious leaders.
