Garanganga and Bega eliminated from Columbus Challenger doubles

Zimbabwean Davis cup player Takanyi Garanganga and his Italian partner Alessandro Bega were eliminated from the Columbus Challenger doubles event after losing to Quentin Halys and Joshua Milton of France and Great Britain.

Garanganga and Bega lost the first set 6-2 before losing the second 6-3. Defeat in the doubles leaves Garanganga focusing on the singles where a an acid test awaits the Zimbabwean.

Takanyi who is ranked 460 locks horns with United States player Austin Krajicek who is ranked 75^th in the world. In order to progress beyond the first round Garanganga will have to be at his best against the tournaments fifth seed.
