The President’s nephew took some time to set the record straight about how he attained the expensive car whilst on Ruvhi Pari’ The Platform show.

Minister said he got the car not expecting to be selected as the new Minister for Youth Development, Indigenization & Empowerment.

“I think people actually picked it up days after I was sworn in but I actually took delivery of that vehicle a couple of days before I was informed and I wasn’t expecting to be a Minister”, said Minister Zhuwao.

The Minister says he unfortunately has to give the fancy car back because he’s required to be driven around everywhere he goes because it’s part of the requirements as the new Minister.

“Ndinenge ndakutoita msikanzwa If I do that. Considering the fact that I’m related to President Mugabe, let me not give people any single excuse so let me stick to the rules, for that reason I’m relinquishing the car”, he said.
