Nyasha Mushekwi remains a Mamelodi Sundowns player

Mamelodi Sundowns’ Zimbabwean forward, Nyasha Mushekwi, looks to be condemned to at least another five months at the club after a Turkish move fell through.

The Siya crew reported earlier this week that the 28-year-old striker was close to making a move to Turkish outfit, Kasimpasa, however it has since been confirmed that the transfer couldn’t be pushed through in time.

Now, with the Turkish transfer window, and most others around Europe, now closed, it looks like the attacker will remain at Chloorkop for until the next windows open.

It is unlikely that Mushekwi, who scored 12 goals while on loan with Djurgardens recently, will be given much game time with the Brazilians, and he will technically be allowed to sign a pre-contract and plan his exit come January after entering into the final year of his contract in South Africa.
