5 Places Not To Take A Selfie

We understand that we now live in a world where if you don’t have proof then it didn’t happen and the selfie way of taking photos is not helping our concerns either.

If you’re a selfie king or queen as some would prefer to be called, you might want to avoid this places when the selfie taking bug kicks in because they are life threatening and sometimes embarrassing.

1. The bathroom

We understand that bathrooms at some point of the day have the best lighting ever, but it doesn’t look right and you might end up showing things that are not supposed to be seen and you know once it’s on the internet it’s there forever.

2. At a funeral

Believe it or not, there are people who take selfies at funerals. Not only is it disrespectful it’s embarrassing. A memorial service or funeral is not an appropriate place to be taking grinning selfies.

3. With wild animals

As exciting as it is to be close to wild animals, maybe for the same time, your life is far more important than a selfie proof that you were there. Wild animals are dangerous and their kind of photobombing is not the cute kind.

4. When driving

So many people have lost their lives sadly trying to look cute taking a selfie whilst driving. If your phone doesn’t allow a hands free recording maybe you should wait until you are at traffic lights or in traffic to take a selfie or just avoid it altogether.

5. When it’s disrespectful to the local people

If you don’t believe in something it doesn’t mean you should disrespect the people who believe in that thing. It might be tempting to take a selfie and share the “weird” story on social media but taking a selfie mocking who they are is not the way to do it.
