Kudakwashe Malachi shoots down rumours of return to Mamelodi Sundowns

Golden Arrows midfielder Kudakwashe Malachi has shot down rumours that he will be returning to Mamelodi Sundowns after a supposed ‘loan’.

Mahachi has started his side’s last three games since being cleared to join Arrows, after his contract with Sundowns was terminated earlier this season.

The Zimbabwean international left the Brazilians under a dark cloud, with reports suggesting that he was at ABafana Besithende on a short-term ‘loan’ move, and is set to return to Chloorkop next season.

“I don’t know anything about those rumours. My agent has never told me about anything,” Mahachi said.

“I am currently enjoying my game at Arrows and not focusing on anything for next season.

“The club has given me a warm welcome and this has also boosted my confidence.

“I have already scored my first goal for Arrows and hopefully more good things are still to come.”

Mahachi says he does not believe he failed at Pitso Mosimane’s side, despite his struggles to command a regular starting berth at his former club.

“I wont say I failed at Sundowns. The team has a lot of quality players and it was always going to be difficult to break in when the other players were doing well,” added the Zimbabwean international.
