On mixing the two different sounds, Mtukudzi said there’s no instrument inferior to the other, all instruments can play together.

The legendary singer said his earliest music memory goes back to his first cry as a baby. “I had already started then.”

On collaborating with a house artist, Tuku said, “God doesn’t duplicate talent, Busiswa has something I don’t have and I have something she doesn’t have. We can only compliment each other.”

The song titled ‘Gidah’ was inspired by the recent xenophobic attacks on foreigners in South Africa. Tuku said they made the song to bring back smiles on people’s faces. “It’s a happy song, it’s meant to make people happy”, said Tuku.
