Zimbabwe has ranked 7th off a total of 145 on the Global Gender Gap Report which they say is relatively small compared to to other countries but there’s always room to improve. Check out the rest of Zimbabwe’s statistics according to the report.
1. The gender gap in Zimbabwe ranks 57/145
2. Proportion of University graduates that are women is 48%.
3. Proportion of women and men in or looking for work: 85% women and 91% men
4. 21% of the working women occupy roles as managers, senior officials or legislators as compared to 80% men
5. Share of government ministers that are women is 12%.
*If the current rate of change continues, the gap between men and women will not close before 2133.
