Takanyi Garanganga crashes out of Nigeria futures

Zimbabwe Davis cup player Takanyi Granganga has crashed out of the Nigeria F3 futures tourney following a straight sets defeat at the hands of Sadio Doumbia today.

Garanganga who had eased into the last four without dropping a set on Friday found the going tough as he succumbed to a 3-6, 3-6 loss against France’s Sadio Doumbia.

Playing at centre court in an intense last four encounter on Friday morning Zimbabwe’s top ranked player could not replicate the form which had seen him march into the last four in Nigeria.

In the other semi-final South Africa’s Lloyd Harris was aslo eliminated after succumbing to a 6-7, 2-6 loss at the hands of top seed Aldin Sektic.
