Brief description:

A limited number of Danish state tuition fee waivers and scholarships are offered to highly talented students at graduate level, who come from countries outside of the EU/EEA and need a residence permit to study at Roskilde University.

Eligible Masters programmes offered at the University. The university reserves the right to decide in each admission round that only applicants for specific master programmes are considered for a tuition fee waivers and scholarships.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

Tuition fee waiver and approximately DKK 7,800 per month to cover living expenses in Denmark.

The tuition fee waiver and scholarship has a maximum length of 22 months for programmes that start in September.

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible to apply for a tuition fee waiver and scholarship, you must be a non-EU/EEA citizen that is required to pay tuition fees.

Please note that being eligible to apply for a tuition fee waiver and scholarship does not guarantee that you will be awarded a tuition fee waiver and scholarship. There are a very limited number, and there are many more applicants than tuition fee waivers and scholarships. Applicants are ranked based on their academic performance.

You apply by uploading a motivational letter and CV outlining your academic and occupational background to your online application for admission to the master programmes within the deadline.

If you do not have a bachelor’s degree from Denmark or have completed more than one bachelor’s degree, and one of them is completed outside of Denmark or have completed a 1½ years top-up bachelor’s degree in Denmark on basis of a degree completed outside of Denmark and/or are a non-EU/EEA citizen and need a residence permit based on studies, you must apply for admission no later than 1 March for the September entry.
