Zim, Afghanistan square off

The Zimbabwe cricket team hopes to seal a series win when they face off against Afghanistan in a crunch odi decider today.

The Chevrons trailed Afghanistan 2 nil, but 2016 seems to have injected a new lease of life into the Zim cricket side which has had to recover from 2-0 down to level the series at 2 all.

Peter Moore, Chamunorwa Chibhabha and Hamilton Masakadza who have all all blown hot and cold will be key batsman for Zimbabwe in the final ODI. Luke Jongwe, Graeme Cremer and Neville Madziva are also expected to be key with the ball.

Not only will a series win be at stake but both sides will be fully aware of the impact Wednesday’s outcome could have on their ICC rankings.
