Oskid is one of the hottest music producers in Zimbabwe right now. He has produced most of your favorite dance-hall songs at such a young age. Take a look at his journey to stardom.

1.  Oskid’s government name is Prince Tapfuma, he was born in 1993 in Gweru.

2.  Prince was given the name Oskid by his friends from school because he loved house music especially by South African producer Dj Oskido .

3 . The producer started music when he was in primary school where he used to play marimba musical instruments .

4. He started producing beats after he became bored because non of the producers produced the beats he liked .

5. Oskid credits his success to doing things differently by being able to play keyboard, drums, guitar, mbira, marimba, and saxophone.

6. He worked in Botswana with Dr Tawanda ,MC Maswe ,Vee and Slizer.

7. Oskid is the producer behind Winky D’s Disappear which went on to top BBC Extra 1 charts in the UK.

8 . He founded his own record label, Oskid Production after partying ways with Ke Nako Musik in late 2015.

9. Oskid’s biggest moments in his career came when he produced Killer T’s album ‘Ngoma  Ndaimba’ and later on Winky D’s Gafa life album .

10. He has been nominated for many awards at the Zim Dancehall Awards and he won the Producer of the Year Award at the  Zim dancehall Awards 2016.
