Chaos As Wizkid Flopped His Concert On Friday
Larry Kwirirayi, one of the organisers who had been deserted by the promoters didn’t have an accountable reason of what had caused Wizkid not to show up for the concert, however fans threw bottles at him on the stage as he was trying to give a placating speech to them
Though we don’t have a clear reason yet why he failed to perform. it was said that he failed because of the unfriendly weather, it is also believed that the “Star Boy” refused to perform in front of a paltry crowd, as was the norm with internationally-acclaimed artists and reportedly a Dj said WizKid was drunk and holed at his hotel room.
He said “I do not know what they gave him but he is upstairs knocked out. I do not care whether he performs or not, all I want is my money”. Fans who wanted to go to the city hotel to get their money back, were told by one of the organisers who advised them to keep their entrance tags for another show.
“All those who paid and have the tags, keep them because there is no one right now, they all went to Harare International Conference Centre to see someone so that they secure a venue for the rescheduled show last” he said.
