Sulu And Sam Dondo Gave A Stellar Performance At Mushandirapamwe

Suluman Chimbetu and afro jazz artist Sam Dondo gave their fans an unforgettable performance at the concert which was held at Mushandirapamwe Hotel in Harare on Friday evening. They gave a jaw dropping performance and by the way, who would have thought that Sam is a newbie in the music industry?

Sam performed songs from his debut nine track album that hasn’t been launched yet. According to reports, his album will be launched on the 15th of April this year at Alexandra Sports Club in Harare. Oliver Mtukudzi, Alick Macheso, Chimbetu and Jah Prayzah and Winky D among others, will be at the Album Launch to support the thirty year old artist.

“I am happy and encouraged with the reception I am receiving in the music industry — from fans, promoters and fellow artistes”, Dondo said.

“Up to now I still find it difficult to believe that Mtukudzi, Macheso, Chimbetu and Jah Prayzah are coming to support me on my album launch”, he added.

The fans danced their skins off as Sam’s Impala group took the plunge while Chimbetu took center stage, keeping his fans entertained until the morning hours of Saturday. The musician kept the mood going by performing songs from his catalogue as well as from his late father, Simon.

Songs performed included Ndambarakishoni, Nyuchi, Ndarangarira Gamba and some new ones from his forthcoming album.
