Documents Required To Verify Or Convert Your Zimbabwean Drivers License

You can convert your Zimbabwean Driver’s License to a South African license once you have been granted Permanent Residence Status. You must convert it to a South African one within a year of receiving your permanent residence permit.

The Following documents are required from the applicant when confirming driver’s license;

• Letter from Central Vehicle Registry (CVR) Harare confirming the Authenticity of the Driver’s License.
• 2x passport size photos (color).
• Copy of the Driver’s License.
• Copy of passport.
• Payment of R150.00 at the Consulate. The applicant should report in person.
