Top Jamaican Acts To Host Local Pageant

Top Jamaican musicians, Alkaline and Romain Virgo, are scheduled for a joint maiden performance in Zimbabwe during this year’s edition of the Black Opal Face of Zimbabwe (Bofoz) beauty pageant set for September 17 at the Glamis Arena in Harare.

Romain Virgo has reportedly  confirmed his Zimbabwe date in a video that has gone viral on various social media platforms, Alkaline was yet to speak on the show. Alkaline is expected to touch down at Harare International Airport on September 15.

It is said that as preparations for this year’s edition of Black Opal Face of Zimbabwe are at an advanced stage, Jamaican musician Alkaline has become the latest artist to join the line-up of performers at the concert, also he will share the stage with his countryman, Romain Virgo, following the payment of his binding fee.

Various local artist such as Winky D, Soul Jah Love, Dobba Don, Hwindi President, Kinnah, Judgement Yard, Gary B and Templeman will be supporting the Jamaican Chanters.
