“Zimbabwe Arts Industry Needs To Grow” – Sophie Ndaba

South African born Zimbabwean raised Sophie Ndaba has expressed her opinion on the local arts industry having grown up in Zimbabwe and pursuing arts herself.

The veteren actress knows a thing or two about the industry that has made her a household name across Africa. Ndaba said the Zimbabwe Arts industry needs to grow. “You know l grew up here. I miss Zimbabwe, l miss this beautiful country”, she said.

Having been on a soap on one the biggest local stations in South Africa, Sophie knows how big the role played by the station is. “Your ZBC has got a major role to play in building the arts sector”, she told Sunday Leisure.

Sophie was part of the Generations cast that was fired in 2014, she is now focusing on being an entrepreneur, she was quoted saying she wouldn’t mind returning to the show earlier this year. Seems acting will always be close to her heart.
