Zimbabwean bustling forward Nyasha Mushekwi says he wants to stay in Sweden although the decision lies with his South African club Mamelodi Sundowns. Mushekwi has been in devastating form for Djurgadens since joining the Swedish club on loan from Sundowns.

In an interview with the Swedish media Mushekwi said, “Of course I want to stay, but its not up to me right now. Mamelodi Sundowns is talking to some clubs, but I do not know what will happen. They told me to wait so I am just waiting to hear from them” Mushekwi said.

When asked about Mushekwi’s future Djurgadens sporting director Bosse Andersson said, “We’ll see, I cant answer right now,”said Andersson.

Enquiries about Mushekwi’s future came after the match in which Djurgadens lost 1 nil to AIK in an entertaining derby which the warriors forward admitted was tough,”We lost against a good team. They played very well and kept their shape. It was difficult for us to penetrate them. We had no good match, I mean with so many changes in the squad, but its no excuse, we lost against a good team” said Mushekwi.
