Spar Boss Apologizes For Dave Emberton’s “Mistaken” Arrest

The  Spar managing director has apologized for the arrest of  the former ZBC broadcaster, Dave Emberton whom was mistakenly arrested at Letombo Supermarket on suspicion of stealing bacon. Spar Boss Apologizes For Dave Emberton’s “Mistaken” Arrest .

Terrence Yeatmen, the Spar managing director blamed his security team for the arrest saying the incident was unfortunate and embarrassing also there was a mix-up linked to the dementia, a mental condition.

”There was an incident in one of our stores with Mr Dave Emberton. We acknowledge as Spar that we could have handled the incident differently.From the Spar side we have apologized for the way things were handled and we hope this can go a long way,” he said .

He reportedly appealed to the British embassy to grant Emberton’s new wife, Melody Kumora, a visa to travel with her husband to the UK where life would be better for the couple.
