Betty Makoni recently reacted to a Facebook post where a Jah Prayzah fan bashed Pamela “Gonyeti” Zulu for accusing Jah Prayzah of raping her .

Jah Prayzah’s fan, Stacy Vee Abonga Chihwa wrote a scathing attack on Gonyeti which read ” yes I am a woman but am standing with this couple. vanhu vanoti vadyiwa njuga wofona 999 hatidi. dei murimi mahwina njuga mai reporter here??.???? don’t gamble with feelings. #am done with you feminist what what. women rights what what .Maziso piriviri magumbuka chiiko handikendenge* singing.

Zimbabwean gender activist and one of the CNN Heroes of 2009, Betty Makoni who in 1999 founded the Girl Child Network, a charity which cares for Zimbabwe’s young sex abuse victims and has rescued more than 35,000 girls and provided mentoring to at least 60,000 girls around Zimbabwe responded swiftly by saying:
