FC Barcelona Star Eto’o Faces10-Year Jail-time Sentence

FC Barcelona soccer star,  Samuel Eto’o has reportedly sentenced 10 years in prison including a huge fine of €14 million for tax fraud. FC Barcelona Star Eto’o Faces10-Year Jail-time Sentence .

Eto’o, who presently plays for Antalyaspor in Turkey is said to have committed tax fraud to the tune of €3.46 million through complicated image rights deals in addition he owned two companies, one in Spain and another in Hungary so as to avoid paying taxes.

Spanish prosecutors have allegedly asked that a 10-year prison sentence and a €14 million  fine be handed to the retired Cameroon international.
