Zimbabwe Names Squad for West Indies Tests

Zimbabwe will face the West Indies in two day test matches at the end of the month. Zimbabwe has named its squad whilst the West Indies team remains unchanged.

The West Indies will tour Zimbabwe with same 15 players in the squad. West Indies lost a three-match Test series 2-1 and five-match one day international series 4-0 against England, while winning the only Twenty20 game between the sides.

Brendan Taylor and bowler Kyle Jarvis were both included in the Zimbabwe’s Test squad. Graeme Cremer will continue as captain while Tendai Chisoro and Solomon Mire and wicketkeeper Nyasha Mayavo all in line for a first cap. Bowlers Chamunorwa Chibhabha, Tendai Chisoro and Michael Chinouya make a return.

Both Tests are being played at the Queens Club in Bulawayo. The first test starts on Saturday with the second scheduled for Oct. 29 to Nov. 2.

The Zimbabwean squad will include:

Graeme Cremer (captain), Regis Chakabva, Chamu Chibhabha, Michael Chinouya, Tendai Chisoro, Craig Ervine, Kyle Jarvis, Hamilton Masakadza, Nyasha Mayavo, Solomon Mire, Christopher Mpofu, Peter Moor, Sikandar Raza, Brendan Taylor, Malcolm Waller, Sean Williams.
