Karen Kawadza wins Miss World Zimbabwe UK 2017
The Miss World Zimbabwe UK pageant was held in London over the weekend. Karen Kawadza has been crowned the winner at the glamorous event.
Runner up is Amanda Nkomo and Laurag Simbi is the second princess.
Kawadza is originally from Bulawayo and currently based in Manchester. She a photographer, traveller and budding music producer. Karen is also the founder of Eminent Youth Journal which will officially launch later this year.
Kawadza and her two princesses will compete for the Miss Zimbabwe 2017 title on July 22. The overall winner will enter into the Miss World competition to be held later in the Year.
The Miss World Zimbabwe UK campaign is a celebration of Zimbabwe, its culture and of women, with an emphasis on Beauty with a Purpose.
Founded by Nyaradzo Mashayamombe in 2010, the organisation aims are to make the world a safe place for women and young girls through an inclusive approach.
