“Ekeskuzu Me” (Excuse Me) is a utempo Afro Pop love song about a young man returning from abroad and coming back to fulfill his promise of love by marrying his long time lover from home.

According to Adrian, “I started working on the music and immediately thought I should call Tytan to assist as it felt like his vibe! Tytan literally started singing the “Ekeskuzu Me” part and we built the song literally in less than an hour from that. The story of long lost loves is a common story we share as people who leave their homes in search of better prospects and I think many will strongly relate to this song.”

Adrian, Tytan and Begotten Sun shared clips on Instagram of them dancing to the song whilst in the studio.

“I witnessed Adrian Tate and Tytan write this so fast… and after what they did with ‘Bho’ I knew we had another one! These young talents literally excite me with their brilliance, and after Mukoko & Bho, I’m awed by Tytan’s understanding of the complexity of simplicity in lyrics. Musically, Adrian since Soul Afrika, has always been one of my favourite instrumentalists. He can play anything! I know Zimbabwe is going to be dancing to #EkeskuzuMe for some time!” BegottenSUN.

Award winning producer and rapper Begotten Sun has been known to create hits and market the music very well. Without a doubt Adrian’s voice is on point and Tytan a.k.a King Mukoko is the king of Afro Pop hits.

Adrian Tate was responsible for the composition, all musical instruments & vocal performances. Production is by Njabulo ‘Tytan’ Nkomo and Kudakwashe ‘BegottenSun’ Musasiwa.

The song is available on all digital platforms and you can enjoy the lyric video via Adrian Tate’s FB page fb.com/adriantatemusic before the video released soon.
