HIFA 2017 Programme Out and Winky D to Headline
The full HIFA 2017 programme is out and some of the performers include Winky D who will headline the festival.
The Gafa King will be joining the legend Oliver Mtukudzi on the ZOL Main Stage along with surprise guest artists. Tuku is scheduled to be one of the acts for the opening night.
Other local artists scheduled to grace the popular festival include Afro jazz artist Vctor Kunonga, upcoming artist ShaSha, Bryan K, guitar sangoma Sylent Nqo, poet Albert Nyathi and comedians Carl Joshua Ncube and Doc Vikela.
Electro dance fans can look forward to Sonic Wonderland with Jason LeRoux and Rob Macson. South African electro dance sensation Timo ODV will perform on the ZOL Mainstage.
The 6 day event will take place next week from 2 to 7 May under the theme ‘Staging an Intervention’.
Understanding the current cash challenges HIFA reassures that Point of Sale terminals (pos or ‘swipe’ machines) will be available at ticket box offices and payment can also be made via Eco-cash.
