1.Mushrooms

Mushrooms have the capacity to produce vitamin D when exposed to ultraviolet light. Wild mushrooms are excellent sources of vitamin D2 and you need 100g per serving.

2. Eggs

Vitamin D is found in egg yolks among other nutrients such as fat and minerals.

3. Seafood

Fatty fish can be a good source of vitamin D. Common options include salmon, trout, mackerel, tuna, and eel. Apart from fish other sea foods such as oysters and shrimp are also good sources of Vitamin.

4. Milk

Cow’s milk is naturally a good source of many nutrients including calcium, phosphorous and riboflavin. One glass of milk is enough for a source of Vitamin D. Soy milk is also a good source of Vitamin D.

5. Orange juice

For those who are lactose intolerant or are allergic to fish you can get your source of Vitamin D in fortified  orange juice.
