Kapital K Finally Reveals New Name

Miami based rapper Kapital K, finally revealed his new name in a video on his social media post.

The ‘Diaspora’ rapper mentioned last week that he is changing his name. He then challenged fans to guess his new name. In return he would give away free merchandise from his collection.

He then posted a video on his social media where he unveiled his new name in a freestyle at the end. Kapital K now goes by the name Kap City, a name he has been using for a while.

He thanked fans for their contributions with name suggestions such as Keith Jr., Keith Guzah, Kap Savage and Salisbury Prince.

In addition he shortlisted 22 of his fans from different social media platforms. Only 5 fans will receive free KapCity merchandise and will be announced in a live post.

KapCity is the second Zimbabwean rapper to change his stage name. A month ago ‘No Stress’ artist Tehn dropped the ‘Diamond’ from his moniker.
