Tytan and SPAR Help Fundraise for Childline

After partnering with SPAR Zimbabwe to sell his CDs, Tytan has been giving back by promoting the fundraising campaign for Childline Zimbabwe.

On Saturday 13 May the ‘Bho’ hitmaker participated in Spar Rainbow Run held at Hellenics School in Borrowdale.

It was a fun packed family day filled with colour, laughter and games. In a promotional video for the event Tytan is splashed with coloured powder. Spar Rainbow Run started with a five and ten kilometre road race for all age groups.

Childline Zimbabwe is a child rights, private voluntary organisation which employs a rights-based approach throughout its activities addressing sexual and gender-based violence as well as sexual and reproductive health issues. The aim of the fundraise is for ChildLine Zimbabwe to continue assisting 50000 kids a month using freecall 116. 

From the event $16000 was raised while the Piggy bank challenge raised $2000.

Tytan has been spearheading the #PiggyBank challenge which commenced early this year.

The Spar Rainbow Run was honouref by the presence of The Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare, Cde Prisca Mupfumira. The minister applauded the organisers and participants for making the event as well as the fundraising campaign possible.

In a post on his social media Tytan shared his gratitude to SPAR MD Terrance Yatemen and Hon Minister Mupfumira.

It’s always good to see when our favorite local celebrities giving back.
