Pics! Zim Queens Of Fashion Bring Slay Game To Durban July

As July comes through South African celebs (and pretty much most of Africa), know of one event only…Durban July. Although the Vodacom Durban July is about horse racing, most fans look out for celeb fashions. Held on Saturday afternoon at Greyville Racecourse in Durban, the #VDJ2017 saw scores of celebrities show off their designer outfit. The theme was ‘Colour of magic’ and the celeb clothes created all kinds of magic. Each celebrity brought on their A game from their favourite fashion while others were on the trend watch. Our very own Zim style queens also had an opportunity to attend the A list event and they slayed. The likes of the queen of swagger, Pokello even got an interview with Nomuzi Mabena for Vuzu while Nadia Nakai showed off her #sqwaa goals. Nadia Nakai

Never scared to show off some skin, Nadia Nakai wore a long velvet, tube dress. She paired her Atherline Couture dress with nude heels and a gold choker. Oh, let’s not forget the swaggy sunglasses…yes even in winter!

Pokello

The queen of swagger had everyone green with envy. She wore a green dress that showed off some leg from Les Closet in Zambia and paired it with her Pokello Pink Bottom, Greener Pastures peep-toe heel.

Mbo Mahocs

Media personality and fashionista Mbo Mahocs created her magic with a vintage number from Nhlanhla Nciza’s NN Vintage. She wore a pink, off the shoulder jumpsuit, covered with a long, white chiffon cape and red heels.

Kim Jayde

The MTV VJ slated whilst working in the army green gown. The layered Quiteria & George dress had a slit that showed off some leg.
