1. Meat

If you love your meat be it beef, chicken, lamb, pork, or turkey then you are getting your iron. Meat contains iron which is easy for the body to absorb.

2. Beans

Beans are a good source of protein but you can get also get iron. Have your portions of sugar beans, black beans, lentils and kidney beans as part of your meal.

3. Vegetables

Green vegetables are rich in iron including leafy vegetables and green beans.

4. Dried Fruits

Not only are they a healthy alternative for high carbs,  dried fruits have iron in them.

Enjoy your favourite nuts whilst getting your dose of iron. You can mix in a few dried fruits for a little more iron.
