The Luveve Boy dropped a freestyle titled ‘Ngibatshil’ Umoya’ a week ago. In the song Cal Vin accused award organizers for giving awards to one hit wonders whilst claiming that some buy awards. In the song Cal Vin referred to POY’s work as a butcher whilst tackling a punchline about beef.

This did not go down well with the veteran rapper who took to social media to insult Cal Vin. That was followed by a freestyle titled ‘Wannabe’. On the track POY claims that Cal Vin is a copy cat o Cassper Nyovest and that he’ s not as good as he claims to be. The pioneer Bulawayo rapper then called out  Jnr Brown calling him a ‘one trick pony’.

Jnr Brown squashed his beef with Cal Vin last year and the two even collaborated on the remix of J Breezy’s hit ‘Amen’. Jnr Brown has defended POY encouraging young emcees to respect their elders however the statement on ‘Wannabe’ seems to show something else.

Not the one to take diss tracks whilst lying down, Cal Vin released a diss track titled ‘Butcher The Butcher.’ The song opens up with a phone conversation before the Zim hip hop award winner goes in to take a dig at POY.

It’s only a matter of time before a response is made. The two are scheduled share the stage with South Africa’s K.O and Winky D at the Amphitheatre.
