Prophet Passion Java at it again.

Spirit embassy leader and zimdancehall fanatic, Prophet Passion Java has once again made the headlines. The man of cloth recently posted images of himself dressed in regalia of a traditional healer. He was seated on a mat made of animal skin. In front of him were tools of trade for a traditional healer. The image raised some eyebrows.

It was only after the prophet explained that he was currently shooting scenes for a new show that people heaved a sigh of relief. His followers had wrongly gotten the impression that the man of cloth had traded his religious calling for bones. Prophet Passion announced that he is currently working with dancehall sensation Buffalo Souljah on a new show with Buffalo being the director.

Prophet Passion is an avid supporter of zimdancehall. He has often publicly confessed his love for the most popular music genre in Zimbabwe. In the latest video shared he also chants a few rastafarian lines. Barely a week ago, the prophet also posted another video himself singing along to Soul h Love’s song Hameni munhu waMwari.

There have been concerns over the prophet’s conduct. Some people have questioned nexus between his spiritual calling and his ever owing appetite for zimdancehall music and his association with dancehall artits such as Buffalo Souljah and Enzo ishall. The prophet has even been heard chanting street lingo associated with zimdancehall such as the words “stonyeni” and “makuruwani”. The prophet seems to be enjoying his time in the limelight with the dancehall stars and appears to be invested in the genre even for decades to come.
