Thomas Chideu bags brace

Zimbabwean forward Thomas Chideu today bagged a brace as Forest Rangers secured a 2 all draw against log leaders Green Buffaloes. Chideu has been in red hot form of late, propelling himself at the top of the pecking order in the Forest Rangers line-up.

Wednesday’s brace helped Forest Rangers claw their way back from 2 nil down to secure a point thanks to strikes by Chideu in the 57th and 72nd minutes.

After making a mark at Highlanders back in 2014, Chideu would go on to turn out for Ajax Cape Town before moving to Golden Arrows. Chideu would then return home where he had stints with FC Platinum, Bulawayo Chiefs and Harare City.

Following stints with numerous teams in South Africa and Zimbabwe Chideu appears to have settled down well in Zambia where he secured a move to Forest Rangers earlier this year. With Forest Rangers currently 6th on the log standings Chideu looks set to be a key player for his side if recent outings are anything to go by.
