Warriors Afcon squad named

Warriors coach Kalisto Pasuwa has announced a strong squad to face Guinea in the Afcon 2017 qualifier match slated for September 6 at Rufaro Stadium in Harare.

Pasuwa has retained some of the players who played against Malawi but has also included formidable players which include Bonnie Macauley, Quincy Antipas, Edmore Chirambadare, Mathew Rusike and in form Nyasha Mushekwi.
Pasuwa has warned warriors to work tirelessly despite playing at home.

“We are playing at home, but we should take this game seriously and be triumphant to ensure that that we qualify for the finals,” he told the Association’s official website www.zifa.org.zw.

The experienced mentor also revealed his awareness of Guinea’s prowess despite losing to Swaziland.

“Guinea is a great team and we appeal to the football fraternity and the nation for the support to help the boys’ efforts,” said the history making gaffer.
